Starting with the creation of “places to belong,” Marowa no Mori is developing environments where everyone can connect with society.
These are places where those who feel “difficulty in living” can feel safe and gradually engage with the community. Expanding these inclusive spaces throughout society is the heart of our mission.
Creating Places to Belong
We develop communities and workplaces where individuals who find social connection difficult can feel secure.
A place where you can participate at your own pace. A place where you are accepted without being forced to overextend yourself. When such a sanctuary exists, people naturally begin to rebuild their ties with society.
Social Advocacy & Awareness
To broaden public understanding of isolation and social challenges, we share our message through books, booklets, and lectures. Based on our frontline experience in support work, we propose ways for society to become more inclusive for everyone.
Building Connections
In collaboration with corporations, local regions, and fellow supporters, we are building social systems that allow everyone to participate. Our goal is to expand communities where people don’t just “receive support,” but actively support one another.
Our Impact
Through our dedicated efforts over the years, our initiatives to create “places to belong” are steadily expanding across the community.
Our network of centers for community belonging and employment support is expanding across Japan.

Global Expansion in Asia
We are currently working on a project to establish a school for children with disabilities in Myanmar. Building on our experience in Japan, we aim to create environments where every child can learn and grow with peace of mind, regardless of their circumstances.
