Vision
Toward a Society Where Every Life is Accepted
We aim for a society where everyone can live their own life with peace of mind.
In our society, there are people facing difficulties in living for various reasons.
Children who can no longer attend school.
People struggling with mental health challenges.
Those who have lost their connection to society due to disabilities or isolation.
These individuals are by no means “special.”
Every person has a time in their life when they need to stop and rest.
We believe that a “Place to Belong” (Safe Haven) is essential for those moments.
Life Begins to Move from a Place to Belong
When people have a place where they can feel secure, they can gradually move forward.

Connecting with Society
We view these “places to belong” as the gateway to social participation.
Changing the Structure of Society
Our goal is not simply to create places for support.
It is to expand these places within society and create a system where everyone can participate.
By collaborating with various sectors—including corporations, local communities, education, and government—we are expanding environments where everyone can engage with society.
We aim for a future where a place to belong is not seen as “special support,” but as a natural part of everyday life.
From Japan to the World
The issues of isolation and the difficulty of living are not unique to Japan.
Many people worldwide live with the anxiety of losing their connection to society.
Based on the experience we have built in Japan, we aim to expand this initiative to Asia and the rest of the world.
Currently, in Myanmar, we are working on a project to build a school for children with disabilities.
A Place to Belong as Social Infrastructure
In the future, we believe that places to belong will become a natural part of society rather than special support.
A place to stop by with peace of mind.
A place to find a spark for working.
A place where people connect with one another.
As this network expands, we move closer to a world where everyone can live as themselves.
A place where light shines in, for everyone.
In a forest, diverse living things coexist.
Though each is different, they all live together in the same place.
We want to create such a society.
A place where light shines in, for everyone.
This is the vision of Marowa no Mori.
